Quadruple Rainbow

How lucky to I feel? I caught a quadruple rainbow on the way home. Not your plain jane, blase double or triple rainbow, but a full-on 4-deep sky full of rainbowey goodness.

I blame the light blogging on the doggone sun staying out until 10pm. Another three weeks to the summer solstice, aka "excuse to be druid for a day".

The Cabal

I know, I know, somebody must have abducted me for all the blogging I've been doing. It was actually a sinister cabal of people and things: Galactic Civ II, long weekends of debauched school's-out partying and a quaint, highly distracting activity known as "dating".

Huge send-off last night for some friends that are moving to Hawaii, and probably my last stint partying in my old school town.

I should have gone into a field of study like marine biology that involved some chance of requiring your presence in tropical paradise. Instead, I get to sit in front of a screen all day shuffling bits. Good move.

On the other hand, I really hate dark water and slimey things that live in it. It might not have ended well.

After they came in last.. twice.. on non-elimination rounds I'd pretty much written them off. But they came back and beat those moron frat boys in a flag recollection challenge at the very end. I love you guys in a totally platonic, hetero kind of way.

We've all heard: "If life gives you lemons, make lemonade." What if life gives you lemonade when you're in the mood for a Latte? For starters, you beat the person mixing such half-baked analogies. Beat them without mercy. Then you drink the lemonade.

But what if it's The Kool-Aid? You know it's just not right, it's unnatural. But the curiosity does you in and you take a sip.

What I'm really trying to say is this: Sometimes things are so good that they need a little shaking up. You're having so much fun that you forget that's not what life is always about. You need some turmoil. It might force you to bust down your fun little comfort zone and grow.

This is something I'm not doing by posting more cloud shots, but they sure are pretty. Big one of the above here.

HAIL XENU!

XENU IS COMING...

Over at OT we have raised over $4,000 which is being used to fly a banner over Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood today where Tom Cruise will be for the premiere of Mission Impossible 3. The banner will say “Hail Xenu LOL <3 OT” and "The baby is Xenu's". The planes are lifting off from an undisclosed airport 30 miles away at 5:05pm. It's a 45minutes maritime flight there. They will circle until 7:30pm and fly back to the airport apparently its 35min maritime back to the airport. You should see the planes flying around LA and Hollywood around 5pm and they should be in the circling pattern around the theater around 5:50pm.

HEY, THAT'S MY TERRITORY:FIGHT!

I've been hitting Galactic Civilzation 2 pretty hard lately. Thus, light blogging. Oh, plus I've been refining my myspace page to be as attractive to women as humanly possible. I think I'm almost there, I just need more blinking text.

For the record: Last arena football game of the season. We tied. Then lost in overtime. It was awesome. It was more like a bear fight than a bear being electrocuted.
