This is the blog of a one Eric from Minneapolis. Subject material, on a regular basis, includes: bad movies, software development, science fiction, puppy dogs, technology, gaming, photography, books, popular culture, paranormal, the dull, the depressing, Christianity, space ships, cold weather, current events, politics, history, trance music, lonely angst, cars, single life, flash animations, people's online goofiness, blogging, libertarianism and sometimes, women.
On a good day I will hit all these topics at least once. Some days I find it easy and natural to believe that God has a wonderful plan for my life, other days I feel a little bit Deist. Some days I am surrounded by great friends or family and some days I spend alone, working and then staring into my TV's yawning maw while sipping vodka straight. Some days I have big plans for my future, some days I can barely see past the drive to work, and for the rest, well, complacency feels deceptively good.
Always: brush, floss, Cointreu, Mystery Science Theater 3000, fried catfish, NPR, rugby/football, curiosity, cameras, hard science fiction (yes, I do like it that way).
Never: Bars, onions, hockey, toppings on burgers, jocks, Entertainment Tonight, narcotics, voluntarily below the speed limit, bohemian, ideologues, Ashlee Simpson.
I'm going to go ahead and do this since I'm in an oddly introspective mood and have some time. "Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow..." MacBeth begins, bemoaning that life is "full of sound and fury, signifying nothing".
